4 slices bacon
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
Directions: Cook bacon till crisp. Remove bacon, reserving about 3 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Drain and crumble bacon, set aside. Cook onion in reserved drippings till tender. Stir in pork and beans, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Turn into a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, in a 350°F oven for 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 hours. Stir, top with bacon. Let stand a few minutes before serving. Makes 6 serving.
