1 boiled and deboned roasting chicken
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
2 cups noodles (cooked in chicken broth)
3/4 cup shredded processed American cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (small) finely diced onion
1/2 package dry onion soup mix
buttered bread cubes
Directions: Mix all ingredients together, except the cheese and the bread cubes. Add additional chicken broth, if necessary, to desired consistency. Spoon into a buttered flat baking dish or casserole. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top; cover with buttered bread cubes. Let set one hour before baking. Bake in 350°F oven for 1 hour.
Notes: This recipe is a family favorite. Can be made and frozen, unbaked, to be baked and served later!
