1 lb. lean ground beef
4 to 5 (medium) peeled and sliced thin potatoes
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions: Brown beef and onion. Drain. Place 1/2 of the sliced potatoes on bottom of a greased 2 quart glass baking dish. Combine cooked beef and soup. Mix well. Place soup mixture over the potatoes. Add remaining potatoes on top of meat mixture. Add salt and pepper. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk to cover. Cover and bake 350°F 45 minutes or until potatoes are done.
